About this strategy
Bollinger Bands draw a channel around the price average based on volatility. When price closes below the lower band, it has moved unusually far from normal. RSI measures whether an asset is overbought or oversold; below 30 is considered oversold.
The template only buys when both signals line up, to filter out drops that keep dropping. It exits at a profit target or with an ATR-based dynamic stop, which adapts to current volatility instead of using a fixed percentage.
It works best in sideways markets or pullbacks within a trend. In a strong, prolonged sell-off it can stack several losing entries, which is why the stop and the position size are part of the strategy, not an extra.
