About this strategy
Drawdown is how far your portfolio has fallen from its last peak. It’s the metric that best sums up how painful a strategy can get, and the one most worth capping.
This template doesn’t trade: it watches. At regular intervals it calculates your portfolio’s drawdown and, if it passes your threshold, pauses your bots and sends you an alert so you can check what’s going on before carrying on.
It works as an extra layer on top of Bot Shaper’s risk engine limits (daily and total loss, maximum size and a kill switch). It’s a good idea to have it running from day one.
