About this strategy
DCA (dollar cost averaging) means buying the same amount at regular intervals without trying to time the market. It lowers the risk of going all in at a top and removes the temptation to trade on impulse.
This version adds one simple rule: if Bitcoin has dropped more than 10% from its reference price, it buys double that week. You accumulate a bit more on dips without changing the core idea, which is disciplined, long-term buying.
It’s the most conservative template in the library and a good first bot. It doesn’t sell on its own: if you want a profit target or an exposure cap, ask Shaper after cloning it.
